Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nina Tryggvadóttir could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 500.00 (€ 385.86) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nina Tryggvadóttir achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gouache No. 21 in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 9,750.00 (€ 12,402.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nina Tryggvadóttir konnte im Oktober 2012 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 500,00 (€ 385,86) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nina Tryggvadóttir erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gouache No. 21 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.750,00 (€ 12.402,43).
