Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in June 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 33,000.00 (€ 3,460.82). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Summer Has Ended in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 572,500.00 (€ 451,000.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy im Juni 2010 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 33.000,00 (€ 3.460,82) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Summer Has Ended im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 572.500,00 (€ 451.000,47).
