Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Rainbow by Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in June 2013. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,048.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Summer Has Ended in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 572,500.00 (€ 451,000.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Rainbow von Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.048,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Summer Has Ended im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 572.500,00 (€ 451.000,47).
