Auction result well in line with expectations
The work At Sea by Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in June 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,212.82) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Summer Has Ended in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 572,500.00 (€ 451,000.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit At Sea von Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.212,82) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Summer Has Ended im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 572.500,00 (€ 451.000,47).
