Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work At The Pier by Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,483.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Summer Has Ended in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 572,500.00 (€ 451,000.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit At The Pier von Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.483,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Summer Has Ended im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 572.500,00 (€ 451.000,47).
