Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Paintings auction, the work Cliffs changed hands for GBP 42,050.00 (€ 49,089.07) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Summer Has Ended in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 572,500.00 (€ 451,000.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy konnte im November 2011 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Cliffs für GBP 42.050,00 (€ 49.089,07) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Summer Has Ended im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 572.500,00 (€ 451.000,47).
