Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Threshing Wheat by Nicolas Tarkhoff was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 49,349.56) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Nicolas Tarkhoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Les Travaux Des Champs in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 314,500.00 (€ 247,754.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Threshing Wheat von Nicolas Tarkhoff wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 49.349,56) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolas Tarkhoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Les Travaux Des Champs im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 247.754,84).
