In June 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work The Funfair At Night (Balançoires La Nuit) by Nicolas Tarkhoff. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,000.00 (€ 13,203.59), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas Tarkhoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Les Travaux Des Champs in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 314,500.00 (€ 247,754.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Funfair At Night (Balançoires La Nuit) von Nicolas Tarkhoff zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.000,00 (€ 13.203,59) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Tarkhoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Les Travaux Des Champs im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 247.754,84).
