Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work On The Beach, Soulac-Sur-Mer by Nicolas Tarkhoff. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,004.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas Tarkhoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Les Travaux Des Champs in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 314,500.00 (€ 247,754.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit On The Beach, Soulac-Sur-Mer von Nicolas Tarkhoff zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.004,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Tarkhoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Les Travaux Des Champs im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 247.754,84).
