Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,502.86). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas Tarkhoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Les Travaux Des Champs in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 314,500.00 (€ 247,754.84).

Die Arbeit Landscape With A Setting Sun And Spring von Nicolas Tarkhoff kam im Juni 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.502,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Tarkhoff erzielen.
