Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2021 Bonhams held the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art, which included the work Two works: Untitled (Horse and Carriage); Untitled (Cityscape) and slightly smaller by Nikhil Biswas. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,416.85). Other works by Nikhil Biswas have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,687.27) in March 2012 for the work Two Untitled Works.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Bonhams die Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two works: Untitled (Horse and Carriage); Untitled (Cityscape) and slightly smaller von Nikhil Biswas zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.416,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Nikhil Biswas haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.687,27) im März 2012 für die Arbeit Two Untitled Works beobachtet.
