In September last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Tasting Tea in the Summer by Nie Ou. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 12,600.00 (€ 1,639.56), 58% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nie Ou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Raising Animals in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 295,000.00 (€ 41,944.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tasting Tea in the Summer von Nie Ou zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 12.600,00 (€ 1.639,56) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nie Ou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Raising Animals im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 295.000,00 (€ 41.944,93).
