The work Orchid Pavilion Gathering by Nie Ou was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in September last year. It achieved a price of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 6,558.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Nie Ou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Raising Animals in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 295,000.00 (€ 41,944.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Orchid Pavilion Gathering von Nie Ou kam im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 50.400,00 (€ 6.558,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nie Ou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Raising Animals im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 295.000,00 (€ 41.944,93).
