This artwork by Nie Ou achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in February 2021. In the Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Self-Selected Works Of Landscape And Figures sold for HKD 52,500.00 (€ 5,596.01) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nie Ou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Raising Animals in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 295,000.00 (€ 41,944.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nie Ou erzielte im Februar 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Self-Selected Works Of Landscape And Figures für HKD 52.500,00 (€ 5.596,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nie Ou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Raising Animals im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 295.000,00 (€ 41.944,93).
