Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work After The Rain by Nie Ou was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,128.47), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Admittedly, works by Nie Ou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Raising Animals in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 295,000.00 (€ 41,944.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit After The Rain von Nie Ou kam im November 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.128,47) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nie Ou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Raising Animals im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 295.000,00 (€ 41.944,93).
