Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Spring Rain by Nie Ou. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 28,000.00 – 58,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 33,600.00 (€ 4,305.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Nie Ou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Raising Animals in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 295,000.00 (€ 41,944.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spring Rain von Nie Ou zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 28.000,00 – 58.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 33.600,00 (€ 4.305,70) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nie Ou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Raising Animals im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 295.000,00 (€ 41.944,93).
