Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Life In Peach Blossom Spring by Nie Ou was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,743.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nie Ou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Raising Animals in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 295,000.00 (€ 41,944.93).

Die Arbeit Life In Peach Blossom Spring von Nie Ou wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 6.743,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nie Ou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Raising Animals im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 295.000,00 (€ 41.944,93).
