This artwork by Nicola Simbari achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in June 2021. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work On the Beach sold for USD 8,190.00 (€ 6,912.56) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nicola Simbari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Plage in December 2014 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 30,989.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nicola Simbari erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit On the Beach für USD 8.190,00 (€ 6.912,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicola Simbari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Plage im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 30.989,17).
