Upper estimate price exceeded by 45 %.
In March 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Wet paper and brambles by Nicola Simbari. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,167.50 (€ 2,546.25), 45% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicola Simbari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Plage in December 2014 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 30,989.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 45 % übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wet paper and brambles von Nicola Simbari zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.167,50 (€ 2.546,25) und damit 45% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicola Simbari erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Plage im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 30.989,17).
