The work Gypsy Girl by Nicola Simbari was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2016. It achieved a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,858.11), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicola Simbari - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Plage, which sold at auction in December 2014 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 30,989.17).

Die Arbeit Gypsy Girl von Nicola Simbari kam im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.858,11) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicola Simbari mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Plage beobachtet, die im Dezember 2014 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 30.989,17) versteigert wurde.
