Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nicola Simbari could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in December 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Clown Blu changed hands for USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,683.58) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nicola Simbari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Plage in December 2014 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 30,989.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nicola Simbari konnte im Dezember 2015 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit Clown Blu für USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.683,58) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicola Simbari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Plage im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 30.989,17).
