Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Boy With Iguana by Nicola Simbari for USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,683.58). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Nicola Simbari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Plage in December 2014 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 30,989.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Boy With Iguana von Nicola Simbari für USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.683,58) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicola Simbari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Plage im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 30.989,17).
