Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included this untitled work by Nick van Woert. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,989.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nick van Woert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hollow Core, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,602.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nick van Woert zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.989,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nick van Woert mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hollow Core beobachtet, die im März 2015 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.602,83) versteigert wurde.
