Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2020 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Kano by Nick Darmstaedter. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,625.13). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nick Darmstaedter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suck in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 117,991.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kano von Nick Darmstaedter zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.625,13) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nick Darmstaedter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suck im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 117.991,76).
