Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Phillips in New York held the auction Editions & Works on Paper, which included the work Untitled (study) by Nicholas Krushenick. The price achieved of USD 1,512.00 (€ 1,363.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicholas Krushenick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yellow Crossing, White Field in September this year with an auction result of USD 264,600.00 (€ 250,000.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Editions & Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (study) von Nicholas Krushenick zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.512,00 (€ 1.363,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicholas Krushenick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yellow Crossing, White Field im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 264.600,00 (€ 250.000,00).
