Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Quý Sửu 73 (Year of the Ox) by Nguyen Tu Nghiem was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in May this year. The price achieved of HKD 70,400.00 (€ 8,438.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nguyen Tu Nghiem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) in May last year with an auction result of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 82,273.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Quý Sửu 73 (Year of the Ox) von Nguyen Tu Nghiem kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 70.400,00 (€ 8.438,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nguyen Tu Nghiem auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 82.273,97).
