Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Tale Of Kieu - Kieu And Kim Troung by Nguyen Tu Nghiem was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 40,960.00 (€ 4,953.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nguyen Tu Nghiem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) in May last year with an auction result of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 82,273.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Tale Of Kieu - Kieu And Kim Troung von Nguyen Tu Nghiem wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.960,00 (€ 4.953,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Tu Nghiem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 82.273,97).
