Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work Sans titre by Nguyen Tu Nghiem for EUR 1,920.00. This price was achieved in the auction Vietnamese Art at Bonhams in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nguyen Tu Nghiem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) in May last year with an auction result of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 82,273.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sans titre von Nguyen Tu Nghiem für EUR 1.920,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Vietnamese Art bei Bonhams in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Tu Nghiem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 82.273,97).
