The work Chiens by Nguyen Tu Nghiem was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in June this year. It achieved a price of EUR 9,600.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60 %. Admittedly, works by Nguyen Tu Nghiem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) in May last year with an auction result of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 82,273.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chiens von Nguyen Tu Nghiem kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 9.600,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nguyen Tu Nghiem auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 82.273,97).
