Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Year of the Tiger by Nguyen Tu Nghiem was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in May last year. The price achieved of HKD 165,750.00 (€ 19,678.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 220,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nguyen Tu Nghiem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) in May last year with an auction result of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 82,273.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Year of the Tiger von Nguyen Tu Nghiem kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 165.750,00 (€ 19.678,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nguyen Tu Nghiem auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 82.273,97).
