Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Rising Sun by Ng Po Wan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. It achieved a price of HKD 288,000.00 (€ 27,423.47), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ng Po Wan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Atlantic Coast, which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 860,000.00 (€ 89,589.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Rising Sun von Ng Po Wan kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 288.000,00 (€ 27.423,47) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ng Po Wan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Atlantic Coast beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 860.000,00 (€ 89.589,13) versteigert wurde.
