Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work The Waves by Ng Po Wan. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,925.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ng Po Wan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Atlantic Coast in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 860,000.00 (€ 89,589.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Waves von Ng Po Wan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.925,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ng Po Wan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Atlantic Coast im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 860.000,00 (€ 89.589,13).
