Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Ng Po Wan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 9,457.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ng Po Wan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Atlantic Coast in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 860,000.00 (€ 89,589.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Ng Po Wan kam im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 9.457,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ng Po Wan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Atlantic Coast im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 860.000,00 (€ 89.589,13).
