Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Apples by Ng Po Wan for USD 875.00 (€ 735.42). This price was achieved in the auction Asian Contemporary Art Online: featuring the Chaney Family Collection at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ng Po Wan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Atlantic Coast in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 860,000.00 (€ 89,589.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Apples von Ng Po Wan für USD 875,00 (€ 735,42) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art Online: featuring the Chaney Family Collection bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ng Po Wan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Atlantic Coast im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 860.000,00 (€ 89.589,13).
