Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nelson Leirner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in November 2011. In the Latin America auction, the work Figurativismo Abstrato sold for USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,441.54) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nelson Leirner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homenagem a Fontana I in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 359,000.00 (€ 263,854.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nelson Leirner erzielte im November 2011 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin America wurde die Arbeit Figurativismo Abstrato für USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.441,54) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nelson Leirner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homenagem a Fontana I im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 359.000,00 (€ 263.854,18).
