Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Atlas (Assim É... Se Lhe Parece) by Nelson Leirner was worth EUR 6,250.00 to a buyer in June 2010. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art at Sothebys in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nelson Leirner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homenagem a Fontana I in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 359,000.00 (€ 263,854.18).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Atlas (Assim É... Se Lhe Parece) von Nelson Leirner war einem Käufer im Juni 2010 EUR 6.250,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nelson Leirner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homenagem a Fontana I im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 359.000,00 (€ 263.854,18).
