Auction result well in line with expectations
The work America, America by Nelson Leirner was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2008. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,831.89) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nelson Leirner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homenagem a Fontana I in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 359,000.00 (€ 263,854.18).

Die Arbeit America, America von Nelson Leirner wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.831,89) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00.
