This artwork by Neil Raitt achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2016. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Alpine 4 sold for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,476.55) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Neil Raitt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cabinectomy, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,137.66).
