In January 2024 Bonhams in Skinner Boston held the auction Prints & Photographs, which included the work Trout and Reflections by Neil Welliver. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,560.00 (€ 2,237.37), 71% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Neil Welliver achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Anonymous Freshet in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 53,125.00 (€ 49,460.01).

Im Januar 2024 führte Bonhams in Skinner Boston die Auktion Prints & Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Trout and Reflections von Neil Welliver zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.560,00 (€ 2.237,37) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Neil Welliver erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Anonymous Freshet im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 53.125,00 (€ 49.460,01).
