Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study For Outcropping by Neil Welliver was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2020. The price achieved of USD 11,340.00 (€ 9,677.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Neil Welliver have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Anonymous Freshet in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 53,125.00 (€ 49,460.01).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.340,00 (€ 9.677,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
