Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia, which included the work Figure by Nie Ou. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,016.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nie Ou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Raising Animals in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 295,000.00 (€ 41,944.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figure von Nie Ou zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.016,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nie Ou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Raising Animals im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 295.000,00 (€ 41.944,93).
