Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gossip by Nazif Topçuoğlu was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish ArtPart II auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2011. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,170.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nazif Topçuoğlu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Triptych, which sold at auction in April 2010 for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,454.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Gossip von Nazif Topçuoğlu wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish ArtPart II bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.170,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nazif Topçuoğlu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Triptych beobachtet, die im April 2010 für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.454,59) versteigert wurde.
