Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art/Turkish, which included the work Gossip by Nazif Topçuoğlu. It changed hands for a price of GBP 6,500.00 (€ 7,480.23) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nazif Topçuoğlu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Triptych, which sold at auction in April 2010 for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,454.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art/Turkish durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gossip von Nazif Topçuoğlu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 6.500,00 (€ 7.480,23) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nazif Topçuoğlu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Triptych beobachtet, die im April 2010 für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.454,59) versteigert wurde.
