Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Sacrifice) by Nazif Topçuoğlu was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art auction at Christies in Dubai in April 2011. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 12,650.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Nazif Topçuoğlu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2010 the work Triptych was auctioned for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,454.59).
