Upper estimate price exceeded by 46 %.
In April last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Day Auction, which included the work Tom and Jerry series by Natee Utarit. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 730,800.00 (€ 88,359.04), 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Natee Utarit have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work GOD in May last year with an auction result of HKD 4,032,000.00 (€ 478,684.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tom and Jerry series von Natee Utarit zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 730.800,00 (€ 88.359,04) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Natee Utarit auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit GOD im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.032.000,00 (€ 478.684,93).
