Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Ball of Greed and Illusion by Natee Utarit. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 504,000.00 (€ 56,063.02). Admittedly, works by Natee Utarit have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work GOD in May last year with an auction result of HKD 4,032,000.00 (€ 478,684.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ball of Greed and Illusion von Natee Utarit zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 504.000,00 (€ 56.063,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Natee Utarit auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit GOD im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.032.000,00 (€ 478.684,93).
