The work Ciel Tombé by Naoya Hatakeyama was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in April last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,340.00 (€ 10,762.08), 62% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Naoya Hatakeyama have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Tokyo) in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 65,000.00 (€ 59,660.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 62 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ciel Tombé von Naoya Hatakeyama wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.340,00 (€ 10.762,08) und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Naoya Hatakeyama auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Tokyo) im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 65.000,00 (€ 59.660,39).
