Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Scissor'S Stare (1) by Naoto Nakagawa for USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,525.35). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Naoto Nakagawa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pink River in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 68,009.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Scissor'S Stare (1) von Naoto Nakagawa für USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.525,35) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Naoto Nakagawa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pink River im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 92.500,00 (€ 68.009,71).
