Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chongqing II, Chongqing Municipality from Yangtze, The Long River by Nadav Kander was auctioned at Phillips in London in November 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 18,000.00 – 22,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 26,706.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Nadav Kander have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2018 the work Chongqing IV (Sunday Picnic), Chongqing Municipality was auctioned for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,044.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chongqing II, Chongqing Municipality from Yangtze, The Long River von Nadav Kander kam im November 2015 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 26.706,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Nadav Kander konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2018 die Arbeit Chongqing IV (Sunday Picnic), Chongqing Municipality für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.044,88) versteigert.
