Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Moshe Castel could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in December 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Israeli & International Art auction, the work Psalms: 8 changed hands for USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,628.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moshe Castel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hallelujah in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 90,000.00 (€ 65,885.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Moshe Castel konnte im Dezember 2013 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Israeli & International Art wechselte die Arbeit Psalms: 8 für USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.628,71) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moshe Castel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hallelujah im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 90.000,00 (€ 65.885,80).
